The modernized bathroom was perfectly matched to the customer’s classic home furnishings and reflects the elegant world of Art Nouveau, particularly with the black and white tiles in a checkerboard pattern.
But the bathroom doesn’t just have a lot to offer visually after its renovation – thanks to the planners, there is space in the newly designed room in addition to the toilet and bathtub, as well as a bidet and washing machine, without restricting the customers’ freedom of movement.
In addition to the natural stone tiles in a checkerboard design, the rest of the furnishings also ensure clear lines and rectangular shapes, which is a central theme of Art Nouveau. Thanks to their retro design, the fittings from Hansgrohe, the light switches and sockets bring a touch of this bygone era into the bathroom.
Finally, a bidet could be installed in the customer’s bathroom in addition to a toilet. Both come from Duravit and complete the room. With their simple design, they complement the bathroom concept perfectly and ensure cleanliness and well-being.
The spacious washbasin was specially designed according to the customer’s wishes and combines with the rectangular Duravit washbasin to form a tasteful unit. The dark slate vanity top gives the wash area a visual accent. To the delight of the builders, the washing machine could also be stowed away in the bathroom: well hidden behind a high-gloss lacquered door under the washbasin. A large illuminated mirror from Keuco and a cosmetic mirror complete the wash area.
The builders wanted a bathtub for the 6.25 square meter bathroom, since you already have a shower in your guest toilet. The space-saving bath from Bette uses the available space sensibly and guarantees relaxing moments. Nevertheless, if necessary, it can be easily used for showering with the help of the practical shower curtain. The radiator from Zehnder can also be found in the tub area and, thanks to its modern shape, fits effortlessly into the overall concept.
